Wine red blossoms are painted with softer shades of red and pink and feathered with white edges. This is a really dramatic tulip and makes a statement whether in the garden or vase. I just love these red and white tulips with white daffodils. This one would love beautiful with Thalia, a mid to late bloomer that blooms for weeks. This is a marvelous cut.
Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
Double Late (Peony) Late. 20"-22” stem length. Contains 15 bulbs.
