I love all the Fritillaria...from the tiny "checkboard lilies" to the grand Imperialis.

Up to 10 pendant bright yellow bell flowers are topped by a showy crown of small, upright leaves at the end of strong stem bearing glossy leaves. Up to 40 inches tall. This classic dates back to 1867.

Absolutely amazing with yellow and white daffs or darker tulips. 

A species of flowering plant in the lily family Liliaceae, native to a wide stretch from the Anatolian plateau of Turkey, Iraq and Iran to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India and the Himalayan foothills. This is floral royalty with the native species datiang back as far as 1590. Highly sought after by designers and gardeners. 

Full sun or part shade (particularly in the South) in fertile, moist well-draining soil. They will rot with wet feet. These should perennialize in your garden if conditions are right. 

Contains 1 bulb. 36"-40" tall  Mid-late Spring, lasting 2-3 weeks.
