Always the first double to bloom! Deep rich pink highlighted with soft pink and white. Wonderfully glowing large blooms on strong stems. Like all peony flowered tulips, she is slow to open, so enjoy the show. This is a marvelous cut. Highly recommended for beginning indoor bulb forcers.
Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
