Bleu Aimable Tulip Bulbs

This exquisite tulip has a unique form. A rich shade of deep lilac coupled with a blue sheen, she blushes magenta depending upon the weather. This beauty goes all the way back to 1910 and has stood the test of time. Combine with yellow and white daffs for contrast and muscari for color echoes. Large blooms and long strong stems earn this one the “French tulip” brand.

Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
