This one sounds more like a Russian Rocket than a tulip. But trust me, this is a TULIP! Massive double blooms. Starts saturated and then softly fades, there is deep watermelon, chartreuse, coral and butter. Maybe all the cool kids don't grow this one yet but if you grow it once you will always grow it.
Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
