Pistache Peony Tulip bulbs

Trialled last year, we tripled our order for this season. Pistache (also known as La Delicatesse) is softly fragrant of almonds. A superstar in the garden and indoors. Strong and healthy. Combine with other late bloomers like La Belle Epoque and Wyndham for tone on tone richness. Blackberry contrast such as Queen of Night is gorgeous too. You can see some ideas below. Blue Spectacle, Blue Diamond, Purple Parrot and Blue Parrot are among the best lilacs to grow with this one. I couldn't stop photographing this tulip last year. It was a best seller at pop ups. I will always grow this tulip!

Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
