Large goblet shaped blooms begin luminous deep lilac rose with broad, paler lilac-pink petal edges and mature to a pale two-tone pink bloom. So perfect with cooler lavender tones or darkest blackberry shades: Alibi, Black Hero, Siesta. Like all Triumphs, a reliable, strong tulip with a goblet bloom.
Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
