I guess I'm somewhat jaded when it comes to tulips...seen em all. This tulip will blow your mind! Much healthier than the trendy "Vovos" (my supplier won't offer Vovos, says it's too diseased and weak). Honestly, never the same bloom twice! Fully double bloom opens magenta-rose with paler, feathered petal edges and yellow-apricot-copper highlights and accents. So beautiful as it opens and changes. Isn't it amazing? Add some white daffs.
Tulips grow best in zones 4-7 where colder winters are more common. When planting outdoors most classes of tulips do not return every year, with the exception of the Darwin Hybrids and species. We grow them in pots and crates and compost the bulbs after they bloom.
